Technique-ly Speaking

Are you ready to transform your pole tricks and transitions you’ve learned but uncertain where to go?! In this dance based workshop we’re going to be honing in on a deeper mind/body connection to our movements, all while finding how details and dynamics can give your dance the extra finishing power It deserves. We will be tapping into extension and musicality to give your current tricks and movement a WOW factor. It is suggested that you create a list of your favorite tricks and transitions prior to this workshop, so that we can look at as many enhancements as possible. Bring your notebook, you’ll want to jot down these tips! Heels, socks, and leg grip suggested.

Intro to Lollipop: 4 Week Series

Welcome to Lollipop Lyra! A 4 week series that combines the dazzling tricks of lyra mixed with the grace of pole. This dynamic apparatus offers exploration to both pole and aerial arts, all in one! Over the course of our 4 weeks you will learn essential grips, mounting techniques, and a variety of moves, tricks, and combos. We will develop vocabulary and our repertoire, while building longer sequences each week. We will take time to refine skills as well as focus on freestyle exploration.

To ensure the best experience, we recommend that participants have experience with taking Beginner Pole classes. Prior aerial experience is not required!

This series is limited to 4 participants – we will be sharing our time on the lollipop lyra.

Due to the progressive nature of this series, we highly suggest that you can attend every class in the series before signing up- there are no makeup classes. No refunds are offered once you sign up for this series.
